West River Transit provides bus service from New Salem to:
- Bismarck every Tuesday of each month
- Dickinson every 3rd Thursday of each month
- Prairie Knight every 1st Wednesday of each month ($20)
- Local Shopping - Every Monday
Fares vary by location. Riders can pay for their trips by paying the driver cash or check. Transit punch cards are available for daily use and can be purchased from the local driver.
